That’s why I’m here to help. I’ve recently tried a few brands and products that were new to me and wanted to share how amazing they are and why they need to be on your radar this fall. Check out these six natural hair brands that will give your hair all the nourishment, hydration and gorgeousness you crave this fall and winter.
My Fluffy Hair Hydrate Collection
This three part collection consists of the Rhassoul Clay Shampoo & Body Bar, Tropical Mango & Monoi Whip and the Twist Frosting With Biotin. The owner, Alyssa, also known as Fluffy, created products designed for hair that is fluffy from (grade 4) to curly (grade 3). None of their products contain Alcohol, Parabens, Phthalates, Sulfates, Cocamide, Petroleum or Silicones and for many women of color, those ingredients are not kind to our strands.
Gently cleanse your body from head to toe with this handmade soap with it’s rich, moisturizing mixture of emollient oils, oat protein, and Shea butter. The stars of this line are coconut, avocado and argan oils and with a focus like those, you know this is a line you need to delve into.

Nature’s Protein Coconut Restore
I love lines that embrace natural oils and one of my favorites is coconut oil. Nature’s Protein offers coconut oil hair treatment products that take advantage of the natural healing and purifying properties of coconut oil, leaving your hair clean and stylized without the unnecessary, harsh chemicals. This curly hair brand keeps hair easy to manage, style, and clean while improving and rejuvenating the condition of your hair.
Loving brands that offer a trio when it comes to cleansing, Coconut Restore’s Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-in uses Shea Butter for moisturization and Coconut Oil for Softening & increasing your hair’s natural shine or sheen. Well, Smooth ‘N Shine, a name most of us are grew up with has taken on the natural hair movement by creating fa line and products that include ingredients formulated with Black Seed Oil, Camellia Oil, Shea Butter, and Coconut Oil. Their curl line was created to empower women to embrace their natural curls.
The line currently consists of:

This is a great line. I love our old school brands incorporating natural hair lines to accommodate women rocking natural hair and knowing that we look for natural ingredients that our hair craves. While we are used to the legendary blue and pink packaging, they are shaking things up in a good way and I feel this will become one of the most popular natural hair brands popping up.
They are undergoing a revamping of their line, look and ingredients in 2018 and I wanted to share the new look of the line. Loving the new look and cannot wait to give them a try. Expect those change in 2018 and I will be letting you know what I think when I get to try them.
